design for the church square in asparn an der zaya

The architects' design, which was not realised, envisaged an articulation of the forecourt in geometric areas of asphalt, gravel and grass. A pool of water was intended to serve as a playing area for curling in winter. Bands of white concrete suggest routes between the islands of different materials.
