Krems is a popular destination for cycle tourists following the course of the Danube. The trio of architects won the invited entry competition in 2000 for a bicycle garage in the town. The concept for Bike Lid envisaged a covered parking area and an information stand, among other features. It was rejected by the local council and not realised.
