The opening of the project "Für die Vögel" by Claudia Märzendorfer on 11th June at the Hollabrunn State Clinic is the beginning of a new placement program for art in public space in Lower Austria.
INVENTOUR tours cities and villages in Lower Austria with a bus. In Hollabrunn is sought, collected, which is not visible at first glance: ideas, visions and fantasies - in the head or already realized, dormant or spontaneous.
The main square is the basis for INVENTOUR in Hollabrunn. Anyone can come there and stay there for as long as possible. All Hollabrunners and numerous actors from different clubs are invited to talk about their activities, wishes and concerns. The stay, curated by the Viennese artist and curator Gerald Straub, will be host to the open urban renewal process, which will be integrated into a performative intervention on the site. This raises questions such as: What do I wish for Hollabrunn? What can I imagine in Hollabrunn / something? There will be expert discussions every hour on the hour. They all will come by: the photo clubs, the cultural forums and urban development initiatives, the slaughterhouses and music producers - including spontaneous concers - to choirs and cellar lanes and even the shopping night comes over in the afternoon!
