Pre-opening of the Landesgalerie Niederösterreich

Leo Zogmayer, „Wenn ich Kunst sage meine ich das Ganze“
Artistic interventions for the architectural opening of the Neue Landesgalerie Niederösterreich Leo Zogmayer "When I say Art I mean the Whole" - the writing in the outer space of the museum should stimulate reflection on the role of art and thus also raise the question of the importance of art for each person personally, for a museum or society can. The intervention was created as part of FUNDAMENTAL (a project of the Landesgalerie Niederösterreich based on a concept by Rainer Prohaska) with the support of public art in Lower Austria.

Lorenz „eSeL“ Seidler „Museum zu Gast…“
As part of the #My Museum project, Seidler´s twelve different photographic works reveal the functions and roles of a museum using the example of the future Landesgalerie Niederösterreich. The museum director, the art mediation, the curator, the restorers, etc. staged at selected locations in the center of Krems in order to clarify the specifics of their work "for art" throuhg the special features of the selected places of their "hosts" in Krems. Since February, the photos are as posters and postcards in public space in the Kremser environment, in St. Pölten and Vienna both an unusual "behind the scenes" portrait of the coming museum as well as their hometown Krems. On 2 and 3 March, the final motif in the series will be a "decentralized group picture" of the museum´s future audience as a digital collage of all visitors to the opening weekend of architecture.
