The medium of Anita Witek is photography. Photograph material collected from her is processed and reassembled. By cutting and omitting, her works often point to what is not visible. For the Kunstraum Weikendorf she uses as a source material, among other things, illustrations of celestial bodies. In her space covering installation Full Moon, she brings non-coherent parts of the image into a new context and allows thereby a new perspective on and in the Kunstraum Weikendorf.
