Lunz is not only a popular place for summr refreshment, but also the location of the WasserCuster Lunz, which, with a memorial, refers to the historiy of the area on wiche the renowned research facility was built. Florian Pumhösl´s artwork reflects this historical event: the existenc of a training camp for young people in the Nazi era. The artist underlines the importance of democratic youth education for the future shaping of society and refers to the responsibility of each individual to protect the rights in a communitiy. With the erection of a sgraffito wall, the design deliberately picks up on an architectural design element that is common in the region. The memorial was created in cooperation between the WasserCluster, Kunst im öffentlichen Raum Niederösterreich and the wellenklaenge Musikfestival.

At 7.30 p.m. the eveningconcert "Gabbeh" will take place at the Seebühne Lunz as part of the wellenklaenge festival.

On the bus wearing mouth nasal protection masks is mandatory during the entire drive. A safety distance of 1 meter must be maintained when getting in and out of the bus.
