Tracing the two channel based perception, media and performance artist Oliver Hangl presents his exhibition twotiming within the museumORTH’s series Alltagskultur und Gegenwartskunst (every day culture and contemporary art) curated by Hilde Fuchs. http://www.museum-orth.at
Based on the history of Orth a. d. Donau Castle, where museumORTH is situated, and the current theme of the general annual exhibition "The hidden renaissance jewel Orth Castle" Hangl focuses on two main renaissance achievements with ongoing effects in the present, PERSPECTIVE and IDENTITY.
How the stereoskopic photography , invented 300 years later, has to be seen in context with the further changing of human perception in terms of space and identity respectively individuality, twotiming wants to show. By and through several audio visual media the exhibition surveys this topics, envolving additional senses also those of the visitors up to the 1st of November 2012, daily at museumORTH (9 am – 6 pm, from Okt. on 9 am – 5 pm)
